The Chainsmokers have had a very successful year especially with their hit song, “Closer”, and doesn’t plan to stop here. On snapchat, the duo teased a new song, which is a ballad and very intimate-styled song.
Singing member Drew Taggart’s opening line “we were staying in Paris to get away from your parents” references the French capital that is known for being quite the amorous getaway. “If we go down, we go down together / they’ll say you could do anything, they’ll say I was clever,” is how the next lyrical tease goes.
The duo recently tweeted about premiering a new single at their Los Angeles Convention Center show on Dec. 30.
