Detroit production duo Bass Brothers are credited with discovering Eminem after working with him on his debut album Infinite. While the 1996 project wasn’t his commercial breakthrough — that would be 1999’s The Slim Shady LP — it did serve as the launching point for his mega-successful career.
Now, for the 20th anniversary of Infinite, Bass Brothers — aka F.B.T. Productions — remastered the title track. The smooth, simple production showcases Eminem’s developing signature style: dense lyricism compacted into a flexible flow.
